About Attention Signs

As I continue my entrepreneurial journey, I see signs of success (pun intended). I am bursting with new ideas daily. Yes, my mind works much faster than my hands! But I see that as a good thing.

If it ain’t fun, I’m outta there… constantly, consistently failing forward to achieve my dreams.

I’ve worked a variety of jobs for other people over the years, always wanting to create my own business. After earning my 4-year degree from Grand View University and going through a divorce, I decided to take some small business classes at Iowans for Social and Economic Development. This is where I started creating my business plan.

I found a local yard sign rental company for sale that piqued my interest but my small business classes taught me to research comparable businesses. In my research, I found a company out East that turned out to be a better fit.

When you want to announce a newborn baby or tease someone who is over the hill, Attent!on S!gns are hard to miss. You can even have a custom caricature created to announce a landmark birthday for someone special.

Actually, the possibilities are endless. Directional signs for weddings, political signs, graduation signs, pink flamingos and more — I’m on it. I also offer Air Tube Dancers that are colorful and fun.

The best part of it all is the reality of making things work, creating it and seeing it through the process of developing a business that I love. I’m having so much fun it doesn’t feel like work at all.
